Winter to Spring

This sweater is definitely going to be on repeat these next few weeks! I'm wishing it came in more colors! It is a loose knit so it is great for this transition from winter into the spring, its also flowy and super comfy. I didn't mean to match it with my blue purse, made me feel a little patriotic...whoops!

Pretty In Purple

I recently took a shopping trip down to Austin, to do some major shopping. This was one shirt I picked up while down there. Now that we are in Spring and Summer is fast approaching I'm realizing I don't own enough bright and fun colors, for example purple. During winter my wardrobe consists of black and 50 shades of grey! Purple is definitely a color more rare to come across so I had to pick up this little gem! The loose fit and aztec lace shoulders are perfect for those warmer Texas days.
These fabulous wedges were another purchase I got while at Nordstroms, even though they are super high they're actually pretty comfy! Oh and excuse the diet coke in the first picture I'm an addict.
P.S. I watching E News the other night and they were raving about black hats trending so of course I had to go out and get me one! Its linked below and under $20!

Warmer weather where ya at?!

Here is one final cold weather outfit that I wore for church! I love the black and brown mixed with this bold pink, makes the color pop even more! Also I am currently obsessing over tassel necklaces and earrings. Hope to get some more soon! I just got this fur vest from Calvin Klein for my birthday and its so fabulous! Unlike other fur vests this one has the sweater back which makes it a little more practical and the gold clasps are the perfect touch to it!

Feminine Edgy

I've worn both of these before and decided to pair them together for a feminine and edgy look! Ive mentioned before this shirt is one of my absolute faves just because of the color, the jeweled cuffs and the little pleats in it! it is so easy to dress up for church or down to run errands.  This vest is also super fun to pair with different things, i love it with a more feminine shirt just because of the level of edginess it adds. I also love the length on this vest because in the cold it is a little bit warmer!

Shades of Nude

Temperatures dropped again today so I threw on this Cowl Neck Sweater and Vest. I love the look of different nudes and tans mixed together. Simple yet chic! Lately it has been super windy so I recently learned how to french braid my own hair (took me long enough), and it has been perfect for the wind, cute hairstyle that stays in place!

Oscars 2015 Best Dressed

I absolutely love awards shows and red carpets because its the perfect reason to stare at gorgeous dresses, I mean what Girl doesn't?

Okay so my absolute hands down favorite was Margot Robbie in this black Saint Laurent gown! I think what I love is the dramatic neckline, but yet it is still classic, and LBD's are always a good idea! I love that she went with a simple sleek hair style and the dramatic red lip! SO GORG!!

Next is Jennifer Lopez...lets just be honest she's always a best dressed. This gown is absolutely stunning for her skin tone and I'm pretty sure she's the only one who can work that cleavage without looking trashy.

I was kinda sad not to see Dakota Johnson in a grey dress...but red is to die for on her! I loved her in the 50 shades movie and I love her even more after choosing this Saint Laurent dress. From the simple pony tail, to the one shoulder glitz to the subtle slit up the leg SHE KILLED IT.

Im questionable on this look for Jennifer Aniston, on the one hand its Jennifer Aniston, and she never truly looks bad, but on the other this dress kind of reminds me of a mermaid...

And finally... Mr. Tatum you take the cake for the best dressed male! Not gonna lie stared a little longer at this one lol. From the suit, to the slick hair, to that scruff!Absolutely amazing Channing!

Utility Vest with Pops of Red

I am so in love with the utility vest look. I love how easy they are to match with other clothes. You can wear them with something feminine and girly or you can go super edgy with an all black look but no matter the look they are so much fun to rock!

And it is still February so of course I had to rock my red flats and matching purse!
